Do not expect rapid weight loss  

While eating a gluten-free diet can make you lose weight it’s not likely it will be as much as you thought it would be. In fact, the reason most people lose weight due to eating a gluten-free diet is that of the change in food. Your body is not used to eating in such a way and will react by losing a little weight. However, once your body gets used to the change in the food you’ll maintain weight again and possibly depending on choices even gain a little weight.

It’s challenging to stay gluten-free  

You have to go out sometimes, right? You can’t be a shut-in for making your gluten-free meals and watching tv. You need to have fun either with friends, family, or a significant other. Depletion of nutrients  

While eating a gluten-free diet might benefit your health it can also harm it. Due to your body’s need for nutrients eating a gluten-free diet might not satisfy your body. It is suggested that you take supplements if you choose to eat gluten-free. Supplements like iron, fiber, and folates should be taken so you can enjoy the gluten-free outlook.
